In 2017, I started freelancing for a group of websites focused on the art and craft of screenwriting. For seven years, I contributed articles about everything from story structure to plot devices. I also took numerous classes with an LA-based school called Script Anatomy, before earning an MFA in Screenwriting at the University of Texas at Austin in 2023.
