Hey, hi, hello!

I’m Britton (pronounced like the country, just spelled differently).

I’m a writer, screenwriter, small-business owner, and lover of stories from a small town in southwest Ohio.

Since getting my Bachelors in journalism and media & communication from Miami University, I’ve worked in travel writing, movie trailer production, and podcasting. My first ever writing job in Hollywood was completely unpaid, done in exchange for a MoviePass subscription. While in Los Angeles, I started writing my own screenplays and honed my craft of writing about writing. Eventually I found my way back to school and earned my Masters of Fine Arts in screenwriting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Right now I own and operate Storykeeper Studio, the small business I founded in 2021 as a side-gig to make some extra money while in grad school. Our small team (pun intended) creates handcrafted miniature bookshelves that celebrate the importance of the stories we love.

After living in several spots around the country, my husband and I found our way back to Cincinnati, where we now live with our two scruffy dogs: Indy and Olive.

I rarely listen to music that isn’t from a Broadway musical, have seen over 600 episodes of Survivor (some more than once), and analyze story structure for fun in my free time. I’ll talk your ear off about whatever I’m reading or watching if you’re not careful.

Check out my writing or get in touch. I’m glad you’re here.
